The challenge facing companies’ world-wide in the system-on-chip design arena is access to the right engineering talent with the right skills. In Scotland there is already a significant strength in the universities and the addition to this infrastructure of the Institute for System Level Integration.

The Alba Centre is also taking action to create a flow of top-tier experienced design engineers into Scotland through the activites being undertaken as part of the ‘Your Career Future’ program.
