Wolfson Wins Scottish Business Award

Electronics Weekly, 21 March 2001 - Edinburgh-based chip firm Wolfson Microelectronics has been awarded its first ranking in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50.
It is recognition of the mixed-signal IC specialist’s being one of the fastest growing technology companies in Scotland over the last three years.
The Deloitte & Touche Technology programme is designed to recognise and promote the achievements of Scottish high tech companies.
"Wolfson has grown rapidly to become a supplier of advanced mixed-signal products for emerging high growth digital consumer electronic markets,” said MD David Milne.
“We now have an international reach, with tier 1 customers in many countries. We are delighted to be recognised by Deloitte and Touche in this way," added Milne.
