INDIGOVISION SIGNS LICENSING AGREEMENT
WITH HONEYWELL AUTOMATION AND CONTROL SOLUTIONS. Honeywell gains Access to leading-edge Live Networked Video technology.
IndigoVision Group plc (LSE: IND), the leader in Live Networked
Video technologies, today announced that it has signed a licensing agreement
with Honeywell (NYSE: HON) Automation and Control Solutions (ACS).
Under the agreement, Honeywell ACS gains access to IndigoVision's
VideoBridgeŽ technology, which can be used in a range of security-based
video solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications.
VideoBridge is IndigoVision's protocol for communicating between
devices that view, record, retrieve and analyze video.
"This technology will enable us to provide our customers with greater
picture quality at a lower cost than traditional analog and hybrid analog/digital
solutions, " said Roger Fradin, president of Automation and Control
Products.
"Honeywell ACS's decision to license VideoBridge is a further
significant endorsement of our technology and will enable us to increase
our presence in the North American market. The signing of the market
leader in security alarms further confirms the establishment of VideoBridge
as the de facto standard for Live Networked Video," said Oliver
