11 June 2001 - The electronic design industry globally is undergoing significant technical change and needs substantially greater numbers of people with high-level design skills. Existing engineering staff and new graduates need flexible access to courses which will introduce them to system-level design.
To help address the shortfall in high-level design skills, graduates in related disciplines will also need flexible access to basic system-level design courses to enable them to re-skill.
